What is IACCC?

IACCC is a consortium of the southern California PT & PTA Clinical      Education Programs and the Clinical Facilities that take PT & PTA          students for their internships. 

Mission, Goals, and Membership

Mission Statement

To promote and develop a clinical partnership among physical therapy academia, the clinical community, and students, and enhance the          quality of clinical education through coordination of activities and       sharing of ideas. 

Goals

  • Set common clinical rotation schedules
  • Provide educational opportunities for Clinical Instructor Development
  • Facilitate communication among members of the clinical partnership.
  • Provide a network for the support and sharing of ideas in clinical education.
  • Review and monitor process of student clinical performance evaluation.

Members

Membership is voluntary and consists of

  • Academic Coordinators of Clinical Education (ACCE's)

  • Directors of Clinical Education (DCE's)

  • Coordinators of Clinical Education (CCCE's) of affiliating hospitals
