What is IACCC?
IACCC is a consortium of the southern California PT & PTA Clinical Education Programs and the Clinical Facilities that take PT & PTA students for their internships.Mission, Goals, and Membership
Mission Statement
To develop and support clinical collaboration between physical therapy academia and the clinical community and to promote excellence by enhancing the quality and efficiency of clincal education through coordination of activities and sharing ideas.
Goals
- Set common clinical rotation schedules.
- Participate in collaborative scheduling process for clinical education rotations.
- Provide educational opportunities for development of clinical community.
- Facilitate communication among members of the clinical community.
- Provide a network for the support and sharing of ideas in clinical education.
- Review and monitor process of student clinical performance evaluation.
- Promote student instruction through provision of scholarships.
- Explore and implement innovation in the delivery of clinical education.
Membership
Academic Voting Members - Membership is voluntary and consists of:

Academic Coordinators of Clinical Education (ACCEs)
- Directors of Clinical Education (DCEs), and
- Coordinators of Clinical Education (CCEs)
Of CAPTE accredited (in good standing) Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant education programs in Southern California who agree to abide by IACCC mission, goals and policies.
Affiliate Non-voting Members - Membership is voluntary and consists of:

Site Coordinators of Clinical Education (SCCEs), and
-
Clinical Instructors (CIs)
Of clinical sites who agree to take students from at least two IACCC academic programs, and who agree to participate in the collaborative scheduling process with IACCC academic members.
